Morocco entrusted Citepa with the development and implementation of a MRV web platform (Monitoring, Reporting, Verification) for monitoring GHG inventories, mitigation measures and supports received. This platform will support the monitoring of the NDC within the enhanced transparency framework and the implementation of the Paris Agreement.

Citepa carried out the overall management of the project, the diagnosis of the existing situation, the consultation of stakeholders, the definition of the characteristics of the MRV platform, the training of future users. The IT development of the platform is managed by OIEau. This work is funded by UNDP.
